Chapter 11- Castle Rock

Perspective: Me

1. In the beggining of the chapter Piggy tells Ralph to blow the conch and call a meeting.  Piggy thinks that the boys will return if he blows the conch.

2. Piggy plans to tell Jack to give back his specs since it is the right thing to do. He says that not since he is stronger or any other reason just because it's the right thing to do.

3. Ralph wants to go to Jack and his tribe looking clean and descent. He wants to look like they looked when they landed on the island with clean hair and no dirt and blood on their bodies.

4. When Ralph is going into the castle rocks with Piggy behind him holding the talisman or conch they are stopped by Rodger. Rodger is keeping watch holding the trigger to their contraption.

5. Jack comes out of the forest from hunting a sow. He talks to Ralph truculently behind his mask of black and green.

6. Ralph calls Jack a theif for stealing Piggy's specs. Jack gets angry when he hears this and begins to fight with Jack.

7. At the cessation of the fight Jack orders that they tied up Samneric. At  first the boys are hesitant but they all gather together and tied them up.

8. As Piggy tries to convince the boys to return to proper ways with order Rodger is throwing stones at Ralph. At first he aimed to miss but know he is actually aiming for them.

9. I think that Rodger should be blamed for Piggy's death. We all know that he has an evil side to him and that he likes to throw rocks at people just like he did with Henry. I think that he shouldn't be doing things like that even if he aimed to miss his intention was evil. He is also to blame because he became delirious and let go of the lever. If it was on purpose or accident he was wrong. He shouldn't have been all up in the fight and throwing rocks. He should have been focused on his job and holding the lever that would have prevented it from happening.
