Perspective of Mrs Dubose

I can't believe the things that happen nowadays. the kids are so impolite and it don't seem like the grown-ups have much manners either. I just can't believe those Finch's either.Their name is in peril One day they are nothing but good people then Mrs. Finch dies and her little children children are running around bringing disgrace to the family. Atticus Finch isn't doin' all that good either in my eyes.

I can't believe that he's defending a nigger. And the things that i have heard about this nigger i think Atticus has lost his mind. He's crazy and cantankerous. I take it upon myself to contradict all their ways. maybe that will bring them to their senses. They think their faults are inconspicuous but i seem them clearly. 

I do enjoy their company though. Jem comes to read to me and it is really helpful. most of the time i don't get a chance to hear it though. he is either reading in a inaudible voice or i am not paying good attention. I think i have gotten better though. i can last longer without having to take that morphine. Since i don't have any conteporaries i enjoy their company. It is kinda sad when the alarm goes off and they have to go. But i don't miss those bad children that much. They're goin' nowhere in life and i don't wanna be associated with them when they do become an embarrassment.
