Dear Diary,
I am very worried for the little ones since we don't have any shelter. I think we need shelter quickly so that we can be protected from rain and heat. I know the little ones are scared of the stories about a beastie. They are starting to think that this isn't a good island. maybe if they had nice huts to stay in they wouldn't be as worried about danger. I hope to help them so  I continue to work hard and build with Ralph even though noone else wants to help us. It's hard but i know it will bring god results. I want everyone to be safe i hope that the ship will come soon.

I know that we need people to hunt and we need shelter. We should also have people gathering fruit and water for everyone. But i'm not the leader so i can't give any orders. Besides everyone is busy doing other things but im glad they're enjoying themselves. They seem to enjoy swimming in the pool and exploring in the forest. I'll do the best I can to make the huts since right now that's all we need right now. Meat is only something we want not something we need. We have fruit for food, water, and lots to do so all we really need is shelter.

I learn a lot more about myself as I see others around the island. The little kids like to run around and scream and shout. I have a nice quiet place I like to go to and meditate and concentrate. I also noticed that the other boys except for Ralph and Jack don't like to work. As for me I try to help whenever I can. i don't want to brag I just want to make everyone happy. I think everyone will be happier if we get rescued soon. I think if we stay here any longer things will probably get bad. I hope they won't though. I hope things will turn out fine and everything will turn out peacefully. That's why I go up to the mountain to get some peace and quiet.
